As one of Japan’s largest certified NPOs in the fields of child welfare and child rearing, Florence is committed to changing the future of Japan by developing various projects nationwide that address social issues surrounding parents and children, and by recommending relevant policies. Their goal is to build a society where people have confidence about the future.

A society where individuals are respected by everyone in it, where they can move forward at their own pace with a sense of hope, where they are connected to somewhere they can rely on and belong to, and where each person who follows their own path is supported and encouraged.

By doing the following activities, they will achieve this goal:

• Eliminating child poverty and abuse

• Supporting isolated child-rearing families

• Create a system that nurtures children in society

• Changing Japan through policy advocacy and creating new cultural norms
