Seibo Maria's 10th Anniversary Grant

On Feburary 11th, Ambassador Naito and Mr. Victor Mthulo of Seibo Maria signed a grant agreement for the construction of three school kitchens at three schools in Mzimba District.

The grantee highlighted that the grant, which will be channeled into the school feeding program, will enable Seibo Maria to provide nutritious and healthy meals to students in a hygienic environment. This will ensure that meals are prepared safely and under proper sanitary conditions.

Seibo Maria is also celebrating its 10th anniversary this month, and the organisation expressed its appreciation that the grant has come at an opportune time, serving as a meaningful anniversary gift.

Speaking during the ceremony, Ambassador Naito observed that many families in the country struggle to provide adequate support and nutrition for their children while attending school. As a result, many learners go to class hungry, unable to concentrate, and often end up dropping out of school.
